Sands runs at Friendship

ELKIN — Jordan Sands, who won the most recent previous Modified feature at Antioch back on June 29, was in action at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin on July 8, where he finished fifth in the Open Wheel Modified race. Sands admittedly make a mistake early in the race that caused an minor accident, but he and the other driver were able to continue, and each finished in the top 10 of the event.

He planned to race in Saturday’s race at Friendship, but results from that race were not available at press time.
