To the Editor,
In my opinion, the senior citizens got left out of all the raises and bonuses.
We didn’t get anything, and Medicare got it. We live on fixed incomes and we have bills also. We pay property tax, car tax, house insurance, car insurance, heat and power bills, phone bills, cable and other bills. All of these go higher every year. Gas goes up about every week, food goes up, and nothing comes down.
We pay our health insurance, then Medicare takes more out of our checks.
Then, we have to pay co-pay for doctors, hospitals, ambulance and our medicines.
I’m really upset seniors didn’t get a raise.
I think we need to call our congressperson and complain.
