SURRY COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Jonathan Reid Brindle, 33, listed as homeless, was served an order for arrest in Dobson for failure to appear in court March 22 on a charge of allowing an unlicensed person to drive. He was given a $300 cash bond and a May 17 court date.

• Jennifer Lee Hooker, 55, of Country Meadow Lane, Pilot Mountain, was served an order for arrest April 4 for failure to appear in court Feb. 12 on a charge of larceny. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and an April 16 court date.

• Erik Michael McCarthy, 32, of Mayes Haven Lane, Mount Airy, was served a warrant April 5 on a charge of attempting to defraud a drug screening, dated the day before. He was given a $5,000 secured bond and a May 9 court date.

• Donna Marie Vasquez-Rios, 58, of Old Buck Shoals Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest April 5 for failure to appear in court Nov. 28 on charges of delivering a Schedule II drug and maintaining a drug dwelling/vehicle. She was given a $5,000 secured bond and a May 2 court date.

• Joshua Jeffrey Blackburn, 31, of Minnow Lane, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest April 6 for failure to appear in court that day on charges of reckless driving and possession of a Schedule IV drug. He was given a $3,000 secured bond and a May 11 court date.

• Jimmy Ray Boyd, 35, of Hillsville, Virginia, was served a warrant at the courthouse April 6 on a charge of violating a restraining order, dated March 14. The victim is listed as Lindsay Owen Boyd, of Pilot Mountain. He was given a $2,000 unsecured bond and a court appearance later that day.

• Derrick Chad Lynch, 50, of Old Buck Shoals Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest April 7 for failure to appear in court Dec. 18. His original charge was not listed. He was given a $550 cash bond and an April 30 court date.

• Andrew Mercado Galloway, 18, of Galloway Ridge Trail, Pilot Mountain, was served an order for arrest April 9 for failure to appear in court Feb. 12 on a charge of speeding. He was given a $250 secured bond and an April 16 court date.

• Tonya Kaye Edwards, 36, of Tom Cook Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest April 9 for failure to appear in court March 5 and a warrant on a charge of larceny of a vehicle dated March 29. She was given $2,500 and $7,500 secured bonds with court dates on May 4 and 9.

• Lakasha Deluca Burris, 37, of Rockford Road, Dobson, was served an order for arrest April 9 for failure to appear in Davidson County court Jan. 19. She was given a $454.37 cash bond and a May 3 court date in Lexington.

• Kayla Jean Cubbage, 30, of Pegram Street, Elkin, was served an order for arrest April 10 for failure to appear in court the day before on the charge of violating probation. She was given a $5,000 secured bond and a May 9 court date.

• David Howard Childress Sr., 61, of Phillips Road, Dobson, was served an order for arrest April 10 for failure to appear in Wilkes County court Feb. 6. He was given a $235.92 cash bond and an April 18 court date in Wilkesboro.

• Kimberly Michelle Torres, 33, of Draughn Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest April 10 for failure to appear in court Jan. 12 and April 2 on charges of driving while license revoked (not impaired), violating probation and not complying with the mandatory school attendance law. She was given a $7,000 secured bond and a June 25 court date.
