DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Eric Eugene Benton, 48, of Leeford Lane, Elkin, was served an order for arrest July 17 for failure to appear in court May 9 on a charge of larceny and probation violation and also July 5 on a charge of driving while license revoked. He was given a $69,650 secured bond and a court date the next day.

• Don L. Jones, 32, of Wildwood Lane, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons July 16 for injury to personal property, dated July 13. He was given an Aug. 9 court date.

• Crystal Ann Gough, 33, of Kernersville, was served a warrant July 17 at the jailhouse for possession of a controlled substance in the jail premises. She was given a $2,500 secured bond and an Aug. 29 court date.

• Ethan Hayzen Carter, 24, of Lambsburg, Virginia, was served an order for arrest July 17 for failure to appear in court July 11 in Stokes County on a charge of larceny. He was given a $1,500 secured bond and an Aug. 21 court date in Danbury.

He also has a court date July 25 in Surry County for charges of reckless driving to endanger, fleeing to elude arrest in a car, having a fictitious or altered title/registration/tag, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony possession of meth.

• Santana Michelle Cockerham, 33, of Walker Road, Elkin, was served a warrant July 17 for failure to pay court costs on a previous charge of cyberstalking, dated Jan. 3. She was also charged with nonsupport and given a $485 cash bond and a court date the next day.

• Eric Lane Felts, 43, of Partridge Street, Mount Airy, was served a criminal summons July 17 for assault and battery, dated May 8. He was given a Sept. 6 court date.

• Marty Lee Draughn, 41, of Cedar Point Drive, Mount Airy, was served criminal summonses July 18 for failure to return rental property (dated May 31) and eight counts of passing a worthless check, dated June 25. He was given a July 27 court date.

• Natasha Kay Hiatt, 35, of Beulah Woods, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 18 for failure to appear in court July 2 on a charge of simple possession of a controlled substance. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and an Aug. 13 court date.

• Tania Guadalupe Govea, 21, of Joyce Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 18 for felony probation violation and unauthorized use of a vehicle, both dated earlier this month. She was given a $17,000 secured bond and a Sept. 7 court date.
