Surry County Sheriff Reports


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Matthew Lee Senter, 31, of Old U.S. 52, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 14 for failure to appear in court June 26 and also was served a warrant on a charge of assault on a female, dated July 11. He was given no bond and an Aug. 8 court date.

According to the court docket he also has a court date Aug. 29 for charges of possession of a counterfeit instrument/currency, uttering forged instrument and obtaining property by false pretense.

• Justin Kerry Robertson, 24, of Round Peak Church Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 12 for failure to appear in Guilford County court the day before on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $1,000 secured bond and an Aug. 9 court date.

• Kevin Glenn Snow, 53, of Hattie Lane, Dobson, was served an order for arrest July 12 for failure to appear in court Nov. 2 on a charge of assault on a female. He was given a $2,500 unsecured bond and a July 27 court date.

• Trey Austin Marshall, 25, of Haystack Road, Dobson, was served a warrant July 13 for a larceny charge, dated April 20 for the Mount Airy Police Department. He was given a $1,000 secured bond and a Sept. 4 court date.

• Michael Anthony Flynn, 38, of William Penn Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant July 13 on a charge of assault on a female, dated July 11. He was given no bond and an Aug. 3 court date.

• Michael Travis Upchurch Jr., 34, of N.C. 268, Pilot Mountain, was served a warrant for a charge of contempt of court, perjury in Superior Court, dated June 26. He was given a $20,000 secured bond. He also is charged with violating probation and was given an Aug. 20 court date.

• Gary Dewayne Bowman Jr., 30, of Cedar Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served a warrant July 15 for a larceny charge, dated May 28. He was given no bond and an Aug. 16 court date.

• Cody Aaron Mills, 29, of Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served a warrant on a charge of contempt of court, perjury, by Judge Marion Boone, dated July 9. He was given a $5,000 secured bond and a court date the next day.

• Sophia Nicole Cifuentes, 30, of West Pine Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 16 for failure to appear in court June 14 on a charge of second-degree trespassing. She was given a $2,000 secured bond and an Aug. 16 court date.

• Stephanie Renee Outlaw, 27, of Pine Ridge Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest July 16 for failure to appear in Stokes County court July 11 on charges of first-degree trespassing and larceny. She was given a $4,000 secured bond and an Aug. 21 court date.

She also has a court date July 25 for charges of possession of meth, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of driving with no liability insurance, and having a fictitious or altered title/registration/tag.
