DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

Earl Ray Gentry, of Winston-Salem, was served an order for arrest at the magistrate’s office June 20 for three counts from April 2. He is charged with felony financial card fraud, felony obtaining property by false pretense and achieving the status of habitual felon. He was given a $50,000 secured bond and a July 16 court date in Dobson.

According to state records, in 2000 Gentry was convicted of 14 counts of felony obtaining property by false coins/tokens, two counts of forgery, and two counts of uttering forged instruments. He was in prison until August 2003.

In June 2005 he was convicted of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny and was in jail until December 2007.

• Living at the same address in Winston-Salem as Gentry is Stacey Lee Phillips. The 35-year-old was also served an order for arrest that day at the magistrate’s office. She is charged with two counts of felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony financial card fraud and misdemeanor forgery of endorsement. She was given a $10,000 secured bond and a July 16 court date.

• Gene Gray Hall, 75, of Boonville, was served a warrant June 20 on a charge of assault by pointing a gun. Ralph Atkins is listed as the victim. Hall was given a $500 unsecured bond and a July 27 court date.

• Tavarria Avarees Bell, 25, of Ezra Trail, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 20 for failure to appear in court June 14 on a charge of shoplifting. She was given a $2,000 secured bond and a Sept. 2 court date.

• Therman Kennie Largen Jr., 25, of Lebanon Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 22 for four counts of failure to appear in court dated Oct. 4. He faces charges of driving left of center, driving while license revoked, giving false information to a cop, expired registration, having a fake or altered driver’s license, resisting an officer, possession of a Schedule VI drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $4,300 secured bond and a July 6 court date.

• Devin Chance Poindexter, 24, of Bowman Road, Ararat, was served an order for arrest June 23 for failure to appear in court June 13 on a charge of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. He was given a $300 cash bond and an Aug. 14 court date.

• Daniel James Phillips, 36, of Wilson Street, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 24 for failure to appear in court June 8 on charges of larceny and possession of stolen goods. He also is charged with failure to pay court costs/fines of $710. He was given a $710 cash bond and an Aug. 3 court date.

• Joseph Michael Allen, 33, listed as homeless, was served warrants June 20 at the county jail on charges of felony breaking and entering of a vehicle, larceny and damage to person property, all dated that day in Yadkin County. He was given a $11,500 secured bond and a July 18 court date in Yadkinville.

• Samantha Marie Evans, 26, of Statesville, was served an order for arrest June 21 for failure to appear in court June 13. She faces two counts of possession of meth and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $2,000 secured bond and an Aug. 8 court date.
