DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• William Dean Nelson, 28, of Simpson Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 14 for failure to appear in court on charges of driving while license revoked, fictitious license plate, no car insurance and failure to apply for a new title. He was given a $2,000 secured bond and a July 10 court date.

He also has a court appearance July 17 for the charge of assault on a female. On July 26 the charges are felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a Schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, and resisting an officer.

• Sandy Ray Robertson, 29, of Fisher Peak Trail, Lowgap, was served a warrant June 13 for assault on a female, dated May 21. He was given a $1,500 unsecured bond and a July 26 court date.

• Ashley Nicole Jackson, 21, of Oak Landing Trail, Elkin, was served an order for arrest June 13 for failure to appear in court previously on charges of having a canceled/revoked registration/plate and no car insurance. She was given a $500 secured bond and a July 18 court date.

• Anthony Briggs Bottoms, 26, of Old Buck Shoals Road, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest for failure to pay child support, dated that day. He was given a 30-day confinement in jail.

• Bobby Dean Huff Jr., 52, of Holly Avenue, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 13 for failure to pay child support. He was given a $875 secured bond. No court date was listed.

• David Aaron Jarvis, 25, of Creekwater Farm Road, State Road, was served a warrant June 13 at the courthouse for unauthorized used of a vehicle, dated June 6. He was given a $1,000 secured bond and a July 6 court date.

• Brenda Dawnette Chaney, 37, of N.C. 89, Lowgap, was served an order for arrest at the courthouse June 14 for failure to appear in court June 1 on charges of driving left of center, driving while license revoked, no car insurance and having an expired registration. She was given a $1,000 cash bond and a July 27 court date.

• Curtis Wayne Beverly, 56, of Abner Lane, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 14 for failure to appear in court May 15. He was given a $300 cash bond and a July 11 court date.

He also has a July 9 court appearance for counts of felony possession of meth and violating his probation.

On July 17 the charges are driving while license revoked, no car inspection, fictitious or altered registration/tag, no registration, expired tag, and accepting an open vehicle title.

• Matthew Justin Monday, 32, of Fairlane Drive, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest June 14 for failure to appear in court June 7. He was given a $3,500 secured bond and a July 27 court date where he faces felony extradition to another state.

• Morgan Jade McPherson, 31, of Bobs Way, Ararat, was served an order for arrest June 14 for failure to appear in court March 29 on charges of larceny, possession of stolen goods and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $1,000 secured bond and a July 30 court date.

She also has a July 6 date for counts of failure to reduce speed, hit and run, reckless driving to endanger, no car registration, and failing to comply to license restrictions.

• Jacob Paul Church, 35, of Willis Park Lane, Mount Airy, was served a warrant June 14 for shoplifting, dated the day before in Forsyth County. He was given a $500 unsecured bond and a July 18 appearance in Winston-Salem.

• Johnny Christopher Hall, 41, of High Cotton Trail, Elkin, was served a warrant June 14 for violating a restraining order, dated June 11. The complainant is a Julie Irby of Holly Springs. Hall was given no bond and a June 14 court date.

• James Edward Willard, 27, of Rockford Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant June 15 for interfering with an electronic monitoring device, dated May 10. He was given a $5,000 secured bond and a July 9 court date.
