Jim Quick & Coastline first of three shows this week

Jim Quick & Coastline gets the week’s music kicked off at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Thursday, taking the stage at 7:30 pm. Admission is $15 or Surry Arts Council Annual Pass. Children 12 and younger admitted free. -

The 2018 Surry Arts Council Summer Concert Series continues this week with another three concerts spread over three days.

Jim Quick & Coastline gets things rolling at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Thursday, taking the stage at 7:30 pm. Admission is $15 or a Surry Arts Council Annual Pass. Children 12 and younger admitted free.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Those attending are asked to bring a lounge chair or blanket to sit on.

The concert is followed by a Friday stage show by Too Much Sylvia at 7:30 p.m. at Blackmon. Admission to this concert also is $15, or a season pass. For more information, or to purchase tickets, call 336-786-7998.

On Saturday, the venue moves to the Historic Earle Theatre, where Carson Peters & Iron Mountain will bring their heartfelt old-time, bluegrass, and gospel music to the stage at 7:30 pm.
