Minglewood Farm and Nature Preserve and the Surry Arts Council are teaming up for the annual Art and Nature Festival on Saturday from 10 am until 3 pm at the Andy Griffith Playhouse.

Participants will have the opportunity to make Nature Confetti Jewelry, Fairies for the Garden, and Veggie Prints as well as strike nature-inspired yoga poses, explore nature photography, and listen and sing along to live music.

At 2 p.m., “The Andy Griffith Show” fans can gather in the Andy Griffith Museum Theatre for a presentation by author and professor Neal Brower. His presentation will feature the episode “Back to Nature.”

The Art and Nature Festival is sponsored in part by a Grassroots Grant from the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, with funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

For additional information, contact Antonia at the Surry Arts Council at 336-786-7998 or antonia@surryarts.org.
