Legacy Motown Revue kicks off musical week


The Legacy Motown Revue gets the week’s music kicked off at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Thursday, taking the stage at 7:30 pm. Admission is $15 or Surry Arts Council Annual Pass. Children 12 and younger admitted free.


The 2018 Surry Arts Council Summer Concert Series continues this week with three concerts.

The Legacy Motown Revue gets the week’s music kicked off at the Blackmon Amphitheatre on Thursday, taking the stage at 7:30 pm. Admission is $15 or Surry Arts Council Annual Pass. Children 12 and younger admitted free.

Concessions will be available for purchase. Those attending are asked to bring a lounge chair or blanket to sit on.

The concert is followed by a Friday stage show by The Magnificents Band at 7:30 p.m. at Blackmon, and Saturday with a 7:30 p.m. performance at the same venue by The Attractions Band.
