SURRY COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTS


DOBSON — The Surry County Sheriff’s Office has released the following arrest reports:

• Nicolas Cody Hull, 27, of Whistlers Cove, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest May 11 on a charge of habitual breaking and entering, dated May 7. He was given a $25,000 secured bond and a June 4 court date.

According to the N.C. Department of Public Safety, Hull entered prison in February for a conviction on larceny after breaking and entering and served three months until being released May 6.

Previously he was convicted of felony breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering in May 2015 and served three months in jail.

• Colleen Vera Puckett, 35, of Lambsburg, Virginia, was served an order for arrest April 30 for failure to appear in court Dec. 12, 2016. She was given a $1,000 cash bond and a May 18 court date for the charges of possession of a Schedule II drug and failure to wear a seatbelt.

• Cameron Wayne Morris, 28, of Twin Oaks Road, Elkin, was served an order for arrest April 30 for two counts of failure to appear in court March 7 in Forsyth County on charges of violation probation by leaving the county. He was given a $7,500 secured bond and a May 21 court date in Winston-Salem.

• Thaddeus Emerson Clutter, 24, of Statesville, was served an order for arrest April 30 for failure to appear in court March 26. He was given a $5,000 secured bond and a May 21 court date for charges of failure to heed a police siren or light, carrying a concealed weapon, driving while impaired, 30 days’ revocation of his license, driving while license revoked, and having an expired registration/license plate.

• Carlos Daniel Garcia, 18, of Brookdell Lane, Mount Airy, was served a warrant May 1 on a charge of larceny of a vehicle, dated April 2. He was given a $10,000 secured bond and a May 8 court date.

• Marcus Clark Lawson, 26, of Nike Lane, Mount Airy, was served warrants May 1 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and communicating threats. The victim is listed as Socorro Lawson, of Ararat.

• Jesse Eugene Bates, 26, of Glade Valley, was served an order for arrest on five counts of failure to appear in court, dated April 18, as well as charges of larceny and larceny by deactivating/removing a security device, both dated April 2 for the Elkin P.D. He was given a $3,500 secured bond and a May 25 court date.

Previous charges include second-degree trespassing, larceny and possession of stolen goods.

• Michael Kenneth Collins, 65, of Haynes Road, Elkin, was served a criminal summons May 2 on a charge of assault on a female, dated April 27. The victim is listed as a Sheena Rachels. He was given a June 1 court date.

• Andrew Milton Johnson, 33, of Summit Avenue, Mount Airy, was served criminal summonses May 3 on charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle and injury to personal property, dated April 26. The complainant is listed as Brandy Hoyles of Mount Airy. Johnson was given a June 1 court date.

• Brianna Hope Ayers, 19, of Duluth Lane, Mount Airy, was served an order for arrest May 3 for failure to appear in court April 10 on a charge of larceny. She was given a $500 bond and a May 8 court date.

• Russell Willard Davis, 31, of Westfield Road, was served two warrants May 3 for violating probation, dated May 1. He was given no bond and a June 1 court date.

• Kevin Phillip Danley Jr., 24, of Danley Road, Ararat, was served a warrant May 4 on a charge of assault by strangulation, dated the same day. He was served while in the courtroom on other matters. He was given a $10,000 secured bond and a June 11 court date.

He also was served a warrant for violating probation. He was given an additional $5,000 secured bond and a May 7 court date.

• Skip Evans, 34, of Reid Flippen Street, Mount Airy, was served warrants May 6 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, injury to personal property and injury to real property, dated May 2. He was given a $500 unsecured bond and a June 1 court date.

• Randy Steven Hodges Jr., 35, of Broad Street, Mount Airy, was served a warrant on a charge of first-degree trespassing (entering and remaining) for Yadkin County, dated Feb. 9. He was released on a written promise to appear in court June 29.

• Harvey Evan Lee Edwards, 20, of Ararat, Virginia, was served an order for arrest May 7 at the courthouse on charges of larceny and consuming alcohol by a person 19 or 20 years old. He was given a $1,500 secured bond and a June 26 court date.

• Gray Willie Phillips Jr., 59, of Southridge Place, Mount Airy, was served criminal summonses May 7 on charges of injury to personal property and communicating threats, dated April 29. He was given a June 1 court date.
