The Jonathan Hunt Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, recently installed new officers during a gathering at Cross Creek Country Club in Mount Airy. These officers will serve a two-year term.
The new officers are: Tina Gause, honorary regent; Renee Francis, historian; Faye Haas, registrar; Carol Snyder, corresponding secretary; Ramona Collins, secretary; Louise Cockerham, chaplain; Treva Smith, cecond vice regent; Debra Bullard, vice regent; Ann Merlo, regent; Pam Fend, treasurer; and Ginger Branyon, librarian.
The new officers were installed just in time to host District IV meeting on July 27 at Cross Creek Country Club in Mount Airy. The DAR’s goals are to promote historic preservation, education and patriotism as well as provide community service.
