Surry County Sheriff’s Office arrest and incident reports

• Eric Todd Lynch, 48, of Children Lane, Cana, Virginia., was charged Nov. 26 with obtaining property by false pretense and misdemeanor larceny. He was released with a written promise to appear in court on Dec. 12.

• A reportedly homeless woman, Kimberly Renee Snow, 27, was arrested Nov. 26 and charged with felony common law robbery. Bond was set at $10,000 secured with a court date of Dec. 14.

• Danielle Elizabeth Johnson, 29, of Pentecostal Holiness Church Road, Mount Airy, was charged with maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $5,000 secured with a Dec. 14 court date.

• On Dec. 3, Shane Everett McMillian, 23, of Rock Lane Drive, was charged with felony fugitive from justice. Bond was set at $5,000 with a court date of Dec. 14.

• Repeated harassing phone calls were made to Matthew Arthur Norman, 58, of AZ Phillips Road, Elkin, according to a Nov. 20 report he made to the sheriff’s office.

• Glenn Ford Bowman, 60, of Pipers Gap Road, Mount Airy, reported a suspect trying to enter his home caused $150 of damage to a door.

• Vaudy J. Dayton Edwards, 70, of Turkey Ford Road, Mount Airy, reported his debit card stolen.

• A suspect or suspects broke into the lot at James River Equipement on West Pine Street in Mount Airy and stole several thousands of dollars of property. Two John Deere zero turn mowers were reported stolen, one valued at $11,489 and the other at $9,097. Chain link fencing and tie down chain, valued at $600, were damaged in the break in.

• Christina Belle Perry, 77, of Hayfield Road, Hillsville, Virginia., reported a break-in at an outbuilding on Red Hill Creek Road, Dobson. According to the Nov. 21 report, a $500 push mower and a $200 weed eater were stolen along with several pieces of garden and yard equipment valuing $270.

• John Kerby White, of Garden Meadow Lane, Dobson, reported his license plate was stolen from his vehicle on Nov. 21.

• On Nov. 21, Randy Darrell Stewart, 51, of West Pine Street, Lowgap, reported a bedroom window damaged in an act of vandalism. The window was valued at $300.

• Danny Stephen Rogers, 76, of Bunker Road, Mount Airy, reported his wallet stolen. According to the Nov. 22 report, the wallet contained $90 cash and a debit card.
