Welch-Smart couple weds in Cary

Brycha Ann Welch and Jeremy Gordon Smart were united in marriage in a ceremony Nov. 15 at White Plains United Methodist Church, Cary. The Rev. Ray Broadwell officiated.
Mac Pannill, organist, Dayle Johnson, trumpeter, and Henry Goodman, violinist, provided the wedding music.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Welch of Cary. She graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2007 with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is employed as a pharmacist at Costco Pharmacy in Greensboro.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smart of Rockingham. He is a 2005 graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is a clinical pharmacist with Eagle Cardiology in Greensboro.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
The maid of honor was Kristin Neal of Cary. Bridesmaids were Kate Garrison of Cary; Megan Reynolds of Chapel Hill; and Beth Southern of King. Morgan Guins of Raleigh served as junior bridesmaid.
Tyler Goodman and Austin Goodman, both of Greensboro, were ring bearers.
Paul Smart served his son as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Smart of Takoma Park, Md.; John Childress of Clemmons; and Jake Epstein of Raleigh. Ushers were Phillip Guins of Raleigh; Christopher Guins of Raleigh; Kyle Yoder of Charlotte; and Mark Dunnenberger of Memphis, Tenn.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Embassy Suites in Cary.
The couple, who resides in Greensboro, left for a wedding trip to Antigua following the reception.
