LAMBSBURG, Va. — Mrs. Mary Annette Smith Bryant, 54, of Lambsburg, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem. She was born in Surry County on Jan. 29, 1959, to Roy Sidney and Mildred King Smith of Mount Airy. Mrs. Bryant worked for Pine State before working for Collins Pest Control. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Bryant, and her dog Molly of the home; her parents, Roy and Mildred King Smith of Mount Airy; sisters and brothers, Sandra and Jim Collins of Pilot Mountain, Tessa and Christopher Perrien of Durham, McCrae and Caroline Smith of Greensboro, David Smith and Phillip Broughton of Asheville, Linda Albahae of Boca Raton, Fla.; nieces and nephews, Justin and Meghan Collins, Joel Collins and Whitney Lane, Cameron Smith, David Albahae, Owen Perrien, Marin Smith, Alex Perrien, Tyler Prufer, Stefan Prufer, Griffin Prufer; great-nieces and great-nephews, Barrett, Sophia, and Liam Collins; stepdaughter, Brandie Bryant-Klein; stepsons, Scott Bryant and fiancée, Sheena Jarvis, Keith Hawks; and grandchildren, Carter Klein, Ella Belle Bryant, Evan Bryant, Kalana Bryant, Keilan Bryant. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church with Dr. Darrell Tate officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.
