TUCKER
HIGH POINT — Mr. Lester Clinton Tucker, 69, of High Point, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Moses Cone Hospital. Mr. Tucker was born in Surry County on Sept. 10, 1943, to Lester and Bernice Childress Tucker. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was retired from Westinghouse. Surviving are his devoted wife, Martha Inman Tucker of the home; sons and a daughter-in-law, Mike and Sharon Tucker of Randleman and Randy Tucker of the home; a grandson, Jared Tucker; and a sister, Sharon Lambert of Pilot Mountain. In addition to his parents, Mr. Tucker was preceded in death by a sister, Vickie Moorefield. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Tucker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until the time of the service and at other times at the home of Sharon Lambert.
