SLATE
MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Kenneth Lee Slate, 42, of Mount Airy, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home. He was born on June 26, 1970, in Forsyth County to Kenneth Wayne Slate and the late Bonnie Sue Tate. Mr. Slate worked as a brick mason. Mr. Slate is survived by three sons, Curtis Lee Slate, Michael Riley Slate and Isiah Levi Slate; his father, Kenneth Wayne Slate; a nephew, Seth McBride; a niece, Amber McBride; and special girlfriend, Crystal. Mr. Slate was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Sue Tate; and one sister, Tammy Sue Slate. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
