GIBBONS

MOUNT AIRY — Mrs. Beulah Estelle Gibbons, 89, of Mount Airy, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013, at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born on May 18, 1923, in Stokes County to the late Rufus Nunn and Verlie Ann Southern. Mrs. Gibbons was retired from 52 Flea Market and was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Gibbons is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Alton (Donna) Gibbons of Stanleyville, Donnie (Geraldine) Gibbons of Shallotte and Ronnie Gibbons of Raleigh; one daughter, Lena Mae Ashburn of Siloam; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; and one brother, L.C. Nunn of Virginia. Ms. Gibbons was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Cox-Needham Chapel with the Rev. Troy Nunn and Bro. Chester Wall. Interment will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home.
