HILLSVILLE, Va. — Thelma Bunn, 79, of Hillsville, born Aug. 16, 1933, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glendi Bunn; parents, Paul Jones and Mittie Coulson Bowman; brothers, Everett Bowman, Donald Bowman, Darrell Bowman and Paul Jones Jr.; great-grandson, Adam Unstead; and daughter-in-law, Della Bunn. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Glenda and Nathan Culler of Ararat; sons and daughters-in-law, Terry and Dianne Bunn of Cana, Gary and JoAnn Bunn of Stanton, Tommy Bunn of Hillsville, Timmy Lee Bunn of Galax, Jimmy and Joyce Bunn of Ararat and Johnny and Connie Bunn of Galax; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Wittensoldner of Hartfield, Ohio, Velda Jones of Austinville and Margie and Clifford Byrd of High Point, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Reva Bowman of Austinville, J.D. and Elza Bowman of Ararat, Elder Ronald Bowman of Austinville and Bernard (Tom) and Judy Bowman of Austinville; a sister-in-law, Betty Sue Bowman; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at 11 a.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel with the Elder Melvin McGrady, Elder Michael McGrady and Elder Ronald Bowman officiating. Family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery.
