KERRVILLE, Texas — Mrs. Judy A. Gutierrez, 65, passed from this life on Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at a local hospital in Kerrville. Judy was born May 9, 1947, in Montgomery, Ala., to Jacob Jessup and Mabel Smith. Judy’s father was in the United States Air Force and the family lived in various places. They settled in Texas, where she graduated from Samuel Clemens High School. Judy worked in Civil Service for over 40 years, where she became a part of another family. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, country and western dancing, going to Spurs games and participating in fly ball with her dog, Nicademus. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are, daughter, Jennifer; grandson, Victor; and brother, Jerry and wife Edie and their children Karen and Russell. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 2 p.m. in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028.
