Pilot Mountain — Mrs. Edna Elizabeth Jones Woods, age 82, of Pilot Mountain, died Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home. She was born March 27, 1930 in Kings CO, NY to the late William & Elizabeth Schwartz Jones. Mrs. Woods was a homemaker and of the Lutheran Faith. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Noonan of Pilot Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Jamie & Kristen Noonan; sister, Shirley Redman of Yaphank, NY; brother, Willie Jones of NY; nephews, Scott Lupinacci (Kaila) and James Redman and nieces, Jennifer, Christine & Mary Lupinacci. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woods was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Woods and sister, June Jones. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. There will be no formal visitation.
