GERMANTON — Mrs. Annie “Pauline” Collins Joyce, 86, of Germanton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012. She was born on March 17, 1926, in Patrick County, Va., to the late George Washington and Annie Hutchens Collins. Mrs. Joyce retired from JP Stevens and was a member of Collinstown Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Joyce is survived by one son, Lanny Lloyd (Faye) Joyce of Sandy Ridge; three daughters, Donna Patricia (Paul) Barczy of Germanton, Karen (Wes) Stevens of King and Pamela “Joanie” (Andy) Phillips of High Point; grandchildren, Jody (Tracey) Barczy, Brian (Sherry) Barczy, April (Darrin) Smith, Derek Priddy and John Matthew Phillips; great-grandchildren, Karah Abbott, Nate Abbott, Ashley Barczy, Josh Barczy, Mckinley Barczy, Waylan Barczy and Leif Smith; one brother, Harold (Sara Leigh) Collins of Stuart, Va.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lloyd Joyce; her parents; and granddaughter, Kimberly Dawn Joyce. A private graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Asbury Presbyterian Church Cemetery with the Rev. Rickey Rogers officiating. Memorials may be made in floral tribute or to Stokes County Humane Society, P.O. Box 102, Danbury, NC 27052.
