WINSTON-SALEM — Mr. Charlie Monroe Gwyn, 71, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013. He was born on June 5, 1941, in Surry County to the late James Albert and Dorothy Carico Gwyn. Mr. Gwyn attended From Behind the Veil Ministries. Mr. Gwyn is survived by his loving wife, Frances Gwyn of the home; his children, Wendy Gwyn Stone and her children, Kristian Gwyn, Logan Stone, Cody Stone, Deana Wolford and her children, Brandon Wolford and his son Tristian Wolford, and Tara Wolford, Stephanie Kendrick (Geronimo Juarez) and her children, Luis Castrellon, Brian Castrellon, and Cindy Caytuiro, Foster and Jessica Kendrick and their children, Griffin, Luke, Deyton, and Leelyn Kendrick; three brothers, David Marion of Dobson, James Gwyn and Junior Gwyn, both of Mount Airy; two sisters, Linda Kirkman of Mount Airy and Shirley Wilson of Asheboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Gwyn was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 7: p.m. at Cox-Needham Chapel with Bro. Don Collins and Bro.
