Emily Marie Burns and Jordan David White
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Burns of Salisbury announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Marie, to Jordan David White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky White of Elkin.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Burns of Salisbury and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Osborne of Cleveland. She is a 2007 graduate of West Rowan High School. She graduated from Wingate University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in human services and is employed as administrative assistant with SCS Inc.
The groom-to-be is the granson of Mr. and Mrs. Gray White of Elkin and Ms. Polly Hall of Lowgap and the late J.D. Hall. Honorary grandparents to the groom-to-be are Ted and Donese Medley. White is a 2008 honor graduate of Surry Central High School and a 2012 honor graduate of Wingate University with a Bachelor of Science in business management with a minor in pre-law. He is a delivery manager for Lowe’s Home Improvement, Mount Airy.
A wedding ceremony is planned for June 1 at First Baptist Church, Salisbury.
