WALKERTOWN — Mrs. Wanda Lee Mort Coalson, 81, of Walkertown, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Coalson was born in Cumberland, Md., on Feb. 2, 1932, to Dewey Elzie and Thelma Gwendolyn Lear Mort. She was a former owner/operator of Coalson’s Restaurant for many years. Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Dewey and Sylvia Mort of the home; a niece, Gwen Winchester of Walkertown; and numerous cousins and special friends. Mrs. Coalson will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Coalson was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Allen Coalson; and a son, Tom Allen Coalson Jr. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Darrell Fulp. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
