MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Thomas Preston Inman II, 30, of 184 Terri Lane, Mount Airy, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born July 11, 1982, in Ft. Benning, Ga., to Donald Preston Inman and Sikinda Williams Inman Thompkins. He was a member of Westfield Baptist Church. Mr. Inman was a author of many children’s books and was a church speaker in various churches. Surviving are his mother, Sikinda W. Thompkins of the home; father and stepmother, Donald P. and Susan Inman of Mount Airy; a sister and brother-in-law, Kerry Rochelle and Ronald Shore of Mount Airy; a brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Tesla Harden of Mount Airy; two stepbrothers and wives, Daniel and Jenna Inman of Mount Airy and Andrew and Jordan Inman of Pilot Mountain; grandparents, Mary Virginia Inman of Lakewood, Fla., Carolyn and Bobby Williams of Sylvania, Ga., and Michael and Bessie Williams of Ararat, Va.; and a niece, Hannah Shore of Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at Westfield Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Joel Stephens and the Rev. Arlis Thomas. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moody Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to God’s Helping Hands, c/o Jimmy Stockton, 821 W.
