ARARAT, Va. — David Stanley Gates, 57, of Ararat, son of Shirley Kelly Rhuda and the late Davis Lee Gates, passed away suddenly at his home Dec. 21, 2012. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at the New Beginings Church located on Ararat Hwy. Food and fellowship will be from noon to 1 p.m. The service will be at 1 p.m.
