MOUNT AIRY — Mr. James Lindsay Mustin, 95, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born in Forsyth County on April 17, 1917, to the late John Earl and Kate Middleton Mustin. Mr. Mustin was retired from Bassett Furniture Company. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Reba and Ray Phillips of Olive Branch, Miss.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Lindsey Lee Mustin, Kenneth and Shirley Mustin, all of Mount Airy, and Tommy and JoAnn Mustin of Dobson; six grandchildren, Angie, Corey, Emily, Heather, Tracy and Keenan; and his special great-grandchildren, Andy, Bethany, Carson, Gracie and he has many others. In addition to his parents, Mr. Mustin was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Lee Potts Mustin; two sisters, Alice Elizabeth Barney and Mary Patison; and one brother, Harvey Mustin. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Moody Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Lineback officiating. Burial will follow in Skyline Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home and a special thanks to Angies mother, Rhonda Horton for the love and care given to Mr. Mustin during his illness.
