The Surry Arts Council will present “Christmas with the Embers” on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Andy Griffith Playhouse, 218 Rockford St., Mount Airy. In their seventh season, The Embers Christmas Show will bring the warmth of the holidays and family traditions to one of their favorite places to perform, Mount Airy.
This year’s show brings the true message of Christmas through moving inspirational pieces and classic holiday sing-a-longs. Continuing their top quality showmanship, The Embers will take the audience through a full range of emotions from surprise and joy, to laughter and tears.
Following the show, The Embers will bid those attending a holiday farewell in the playhouse lobby where an autographed holiday picture of the group can be obtained. This year’s Embers Christmas album will be available for purchase in the playhouse lobby. The album contains selected features from the Christmas show.
