CANA, Va. — A benefit Bingo Bonanza has been set for Friday at St. Paul School in Cana.

The doors are scheduled to open at 6 p.m. with games beginning at 7 p.m. All proceeds go to help Michael and Alana Sexton of Cana. Participants may play bingo for a chance to win a variety of prizes from companies including Longaberger, Sabika, Thirty-one, Paparrazi and Scentsy as well as gift cards.

A cake auction and silent auction are also scheduled to be held. Participants who do not want to stay for Bingo are encouraged to come early, eat, check out the auction items and make a donation. Donations may also be made at any BB&T Bank once bank employees are told it is for the Sextons.

Persons wishing to donate an item for the auction can drop items off at St. Paul School any time until the end of the week. Items should be labeled “Sexton Benefit.” The family has been under hardship recently due to Michael Sexton’s battle with cancer.
