DURHAM — Atticus Crawford, 30, much loved son of David and Jody Crawford and brother of Benjamin Crawford, passed away Nov. 11, 2012, in Durham. Atticus was born Aug. 7, 1982, in Mount Airy and graduated from Mount Airy High School. We remember Atticus’ gentle kindness and the essential goodness that was at his center and will miss him deeply. There will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to the National Association on Mental Illness, P.O. Box 62596, Baltimore, MD 21264-2596.
