Courtney Nicole Martin and Brandon Carl Smith were married on Sept. 21 in the First Baptist Church of Pilot Mountain. The Rev. Tommy Shelton officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Sheila Martin of Mount Airy and Ricky Martin of High Point. A graduate of East Surry High School, she received her Bachelor and Master of Science in accountancy from Wake Forest University. She is a staff accountant at Haynes Strand and Company PLLC.
The bridegroom is the son of Carl and Christy Smith of Dobson. He graduated from Surry Central High School and received a Bachelor of Science in information technology from East Carolina University. He is a PC/LAN engineer at Northern Hospital of Surry County.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Corey Martin.
Selena Yokley of Pilot Mountain was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Jessica Walkup of Pinnacle, cousin of the bride; Chelsea Hooker of Winston-Salem, cousin of the bride; Holli Hamilton of Mount Airy; and Sadie Hooker of Pilot Mountain, cousin of the bride.
McKenna Dollyhite of Mount Airy, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
The bridegroom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Corey Martin of Mount Airy, brother of the bride; Austin Smith of Dobson, brother of the bridegroom; Jason Robertson of Charlotte, cousin of the bridegroom; and Kendall Smith of Dobson, brother of the bridegroom. The junior groomsmen was Ian Dollyhite of Mount Airy, cousin of the bride.
Music for the wedding ceremony was presented by Kellie Dollyhite.
A reception followed in the church fellowship hall. Music and entertainment were provided by Danny Stevens.
After a honeymoon to Savannah, Ga., and Charleston, S.C., the newlyweds reside in Pilot Mountain.
