Angela Llewellyn reads a tale from the book “Half-Minute Horrors” Sunday night during the Ghosts, Goblins & Miss Gertrude event. The 1903 Gertrude Smith House in Mount Airy provided the perfect setting for a variety of ghost stories for both younger and older listeners, with Halloween decorations placed throughout the home adding to the atmosphere. Many of those attending also wore costumes.
