Twelve Oaks, a DePaul Senior Living Community, raised $2,400 and sponsored a team of more than 20 people in the first-ever Mt. Airy Walk to End Alzheimer’s which took place October 6 at Riverside Park Greenway. It was an exciting day that generated a lot of excitement in the community, said Twelve Oaks Administrative Assistant Anne Spencer.

“This event gave us a rewarding satisfaction knowing that our efforts are assisting with a cause that touches so many of the residents in our facility every day and to be part of creating an event that our community wants to be involved in on an annual basis,” she said.
