DOBSON — Noah Solomon Israel (Charles Alfred Thompson), 59, of Mount Airy, died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, at Northern Hospital. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Noah was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Thompson. He was preceded in death by a son, Charles Alfred Thompson Jr.; and a brother, Wayne Thompson. He is survived by two daughters, Jessica Uyvette and Charlotte Victoria Thompson; three grandchildren, Ciara Jones and Caleb and Seth Thompson; a former wife, Agnes Johnson; two sisters, Antoinette Addison and Shearlottie Boykin; and four brothers, Allen F., Lawrence D., Steven E. and Vernon O. Thompson. The internment will be at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, S.C.; the funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
