This family clown show will trace the history of laughter by combining masks, magic, mime, movement, music and mayhem for an evening designed to delight audiences of all ages.
Mark and Linda Donnell have been ‘clowning around’ together for 30 years. The duo will use their skills as dancers, mimes, and clowns to perform a duet on typewriters, make balloon creations, act out the story of Jonah and the Whale, with a humorous twist, and much more.
The couple recently completed the summer series StoryTales!, a weekly children’s theater series presenting a different fairy tale each week for young audiences.
The show will start at 7:30 p.m. at the amphitheatre (218 Rockford Street, across from the Andy Griffith Playhouse). Tickets are $5 or free with the SAC Season Pass. Call 786-7998 or visit www.surryarts.org for more information.
