The bride is the daughter of Adam and Jennifer Love of Mount Airy and the late Terri Guynn. She is the granddaughter of Hassie Love and the late Cody Love and Jay Guynn and the late Helen Guynn. The bride graduated from Carroll County High School. She is employed at Eagle Carports in Cana, Va.
The groom is the son of Gary and Susan Humphries of Cana. He is the grandson of the Rev. Jimmy and Lucy Felts of Cana and Ruth Belton of Mount Airy. He attended Carroll County High School and is employed with Semones Lawn Care of Cana.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless satin side draped A-line dress with a beaded pearl, laced bodice and tiered lace trim skirt. The A-line skirt formed a beautiful chapel-length train. Her veil was edged with pearls that matched the gown. She wore a silver tiara with rhinestones and pearls and carried a bouquet of red roses.
There were “In Memory of” roses placed for the bride’s mother, Terri Guynn, and the groom’s sister, Kellie Humphries.
Hope Guynn of North Wilkesboro, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. April Guynn of Hillsville, Va., and Bridgett Love of Mount Airy, both sisters of the bride, served as her bridesmaids. They all carried bouquets of red and white roses.
Gary Humphries of Cana, father of the groom, served as his son’s best man. L.J. Goins of Mount Airy, stepbrother of the groom, and Kevin Penley of Cana, served as groomsmen.
Daniel Humphries, son of the bride and groom, served as ring bearer. Emily Woods, daughter of the groom, served as flower girl.
The registry attendant was Shaska Key of Cana. Music was provided by Andrew Goins, stepbrother of the groom.
Following the wedding, parents of both bride and groom, hosted a reception in the church fellowship hall.
On Friday night, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at 13 Bones, LLC of Mount Airy.
The couple departed for a honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn. They will reside in Cana.
