To the Editor,
This is in response to the letter written by Janet Owens Martin on July 29, 2010.
The debate in Washington was not over whether the Unemployment Benefits should be extended or not. It was over how this bill should be PAID for.
The Republicans wanted to pay for it NOW with unused Stimulus money.
The President and Democrats wanted to add it to the National Debt.
The Bill passed and will be added to the bankrupt inducing 12 plus TRILLION dollar debt.
