MOUNT AIRY — Mr. William Robert “W.R.” Quesinberry Jr., 67, of 127 High Ridge Road, Mount Airy, husband of Mrs. Bonnie Haynes Quesinberry, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010, at his home. He was born June 13, 1943, in Surry County to the late William Robert Quesinberry Sr. and Victoria Elizabeth Leftwich Quesinberry. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Quesinberry was a member of the St. Paul Church Of The Brethren. Surviving are his wife, Bonnie H. Quesinberry of the home; a son and fiancé, Robert Alan Quesinberry and Dorlisa Abels of Charlotte; mother-in-law, Georgia Boyd Haynes of Mount Airy; sisters-in-law and husbands, Betty and Troy Hodges of Mount Airy, Ruth and Sammy Goins of Mount Airy and Katherine Sawyers of Mount Airy; and brothers-in-law and wives, Lonnie Haynes of Mount Airy, Pete and Gloria Jean Haynes of Mount Airy and Richard and Linda Haynes of Mount Airy. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 4, 2010, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by the Rev. Donnie Holyfield and the Rev. Tommy Kingsbury. Burial will follow in Peoples Church Cemetery. Full military rites will be conducted at the graveside by The American Legion Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Moody Funeral Home.
