MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Chad Everette Moore, 20, of 1361 Maple Grove Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, June 8, 2010. He was born Nov. 29, 1989, in Surry County to Chris and Leona Golding Moore. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents, Chris and Leona G. Moore of the home; “special girlfriend,” Charlotte Cooke of Mount Airy; grandmother, Clara Irene Golding of Mount Airy; a grandfather, Sheppard Ausby Moore of Mount Airy; and a great-grandmother, Rena Grimes of Mount Airy. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Ann Collins Moore; and a grandfather, Clay Golding. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by the Rev. Woody Flippen and the Rev. Tommy Shelton. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Moody Funeral Home.
