MOUNT AIRY — Miss Barbara Alice Hall, 71, of Mount Airy, passed away Monday, April 19, 2010, at Baptist Hospital. She worked for many years at JC Penney, Inc., retired from United Technologies and later worked at Kentucky Derby Hosiery and was faithful at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Surviving are two brothers, Gary Hall and Phil Hall, both of Mount Airy; a sister-in-law, Violet Hall of Cana, Va.; and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Miss Hall was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Martin; a brother, Carroll Hall; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Hall and Jenny Hall. A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010, at Holy Angels Catholic Church by Father Kolwalski. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
