MOUNT AIRY — Ms. Margie Puckett Hall, 76, of 1084 Maple Grove Church Road, Mount Airy, passed away at Golden Living-Surry Community Saturday morning, March 27, 2010. She was born May 26, 1933, in Surry County to the late Dock Franklin and Ola Davis Puckett. She was retired from Sara Lee and was a homemaker. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Carroll Wayne and Wanda Hall of Mount Airy, Kenneth Lane Hall of the home, Steven and Susie Hall of Mount Airy, four grandchildren and two spouses, Bambi and Terry Craver of Yadkinville, Kimberly Hall and fiancé Marc Driggers of Mount Airy, Steven Blaine and Jessie Hall of Pilot Mountain, and Stephanie Hall of Mount Airy; three great-grandchildren, Katie Hall, Kameron Hall and Sydney Craver; a sister, Marie Easter of King; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Major and Delta Puckett of Mount Airy, Manuel and Jane Puckett of Mount Airy. Ms. Hall was preceded in death by the father of her children, Charles Hall and two brothers, Joe Puckett and Harvey Puckett. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Moody Funeral Home Chapel of Mount Airy conducted by Mrs. Mary Lynn Holder and the Rev. Grover Jarrell. Burial will follow in the Crooked Oak Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. Monday until time of the service at Moody Funeral Home.
