Residents 16 years of age or older of Surry, Stokes, Yadkin and Allegheny counties in North Carolina and Carroll, Patrick, Grayson and Wythe counties in Virginia should bring their framed artwork to the Gertrude Smith House, 708 North Main Street.
The artwork must be original, created within the past five years and not exceed 48 inches on any side, including the frame. Paintings, drawings, mixed media, computer art and photography will be accepted.
Cash prizes will be awarded.
The opening reception will be held Sunday, March 28, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
