Frank and Beatrice Kirkman....1938
Mr. and Mrs. Kirkman were blessed with six children, Vernice Johnson of Raleigh; Evelyn Secrest, Roger Kirkman, Glenda Mears and Debra Sawyers, all of Mount Airy; and Judy Kirkman of Ventura, Calif. They have 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Kirkman is retired from the North Carolina Granite Corporation. Mrs. Kirkman is a housewife.
