Mount Airy City Schools is beginning the 2010-11 registration process. If the times listed below do not work, parents should contact one of the schools and plan a visit or tour at a convenient time.
n Tharrington Primary School (PK-2) March 23 — 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
n Jones Intermediate School (3-5) March 25 — 6 to 8 p.m.
n Mount Airy Middle School (6-8) March 15 — 5 to 8 p.m.
n Mount Airy High School (9-12) March 17 — 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Children who will be 5-years-old on or before Aug. 31 are eligible to begin kindergarten. Registration for kindergarten begins Tuesday during Tharrington’s open house.
