PULASKI, Va. — Grace Edith Melton, 89, of Pulaski, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, in Pulaski Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born Oct. 3, 1920, in Carroll County and was the daughter of the late Minnie Felts Melton and Eldridge William Melton. She was retired from the textile industry in Mount Airy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and six sisters. She is survived by one brother, Robert W. Melton and his wife, Becky, of Pulaski. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a sister-in-law, Juanita M. Melton of Dublin. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Seagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Ted Turner officiating. Interment will be at a later date in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Fancy Gap. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Beulah House, Inc., P.O.
