Salem United Methodist Church is having a dinner and talent show on Saturday. The program was originally scheduled in January, but because of inclement weather had to be postponed.

Program Director Brady Jones said he has a great line up of acts including guitar, piano, fiddle, solos, groups, storytelling, flatfooting and singing.

“There might even be some dog tricks and other unusual acts,” said Jones. “This is a neat opportunity to allow the church members to share their talents with our church and the community.”

The dinner menu will include lasagna, salad, garlic bread and dessert. The meal is scheduled for 5 to 6:30 p.m. The talent show will begin at 7 p.m. The cost for the dinner and talent show is donations only. All proceeds will benefit the church building fund. The church is at 2591 Wards Gap Road, Mount Airy.
