There will be three shows including an evening performance at 7 p.m. on Friday and matinees at 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday at the Andy Griffith Playhouse.
Cost for the show is $10 for adults or $5 for children 12 and younger. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Surry Arts Council office or at the door. These plays include entertainment and humor for the entire family.
Alice follows Lewis Carroll’s tale where a young girl follows a white rabbit into a world of nonsense. As she seeks to find her way home, she encounters fun, memorable characters such as a talking caterpillar, a singing Duchess, mischievous playing cards and a smiling Cheshire cat.
Her hope for leaving Wonderland is in the hands of an absurd jury with the King and Queen of Hearts presiding. Will she ever get home?

Snow White and the Seven Dudes starts the way the traditional tale begins, but quickly changes as Snow White is brought to a dude ranch for safety by the wicked Queen’s son, the Prince. While at the Ranch, Snow White learns much about life and love and the Prince learns that following his heart makes him strong.
Snow White and the Seven Dudes is directed by Ellen Merritt and includes the following cast: Amy Edwards, Sandra Douglas, Ethan Edwards, Deniese Lara, Terri Keck, Crystal Bowman, Curtis Coleman, Jasmine Hagwood, Bob Keck, James Bell, Erin Hamlin, Sam Brown and Emily Edwards.
Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is a whirlwind tour of the brothers’ fairy tales including well known stories: “Rapunzel,” “Cinderella,” “Hansel and Gretel” and other lesser known tales: “The Devil’s Grandmother,” and “Straw, Coal and Bean.”
A bit on the irreverant side, Brothers Grimm engages the audience and promotes laughs as cast members try to present as much as possible in very little time. Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is directed by Vince Hancock and includes the following locals: LuAnn Browne, Zack Freeman, Jessica Bolick, Farron Barneycastle, Jasmine Hagwood and Scott Carpenter.
