MOUNT AIRY — Mr. Lonnie Gray Timmons, 64, of 213 Broad St., Mount Airy, was called to his Heavenly Reward on Jan. 21, 2010, at Katie B. Hospice Home, Winston-Salem. He was born Nov. 19, 1945, in Surry County to the late Joe F. Timmons and Mabel E. Timmons. One brother, Burton E. Timmons and wife Judy of Winston-Salem, survive him. One brother, Leon A. Timmons, preceded him in death. There will not be a service for Lonnie. His remains were transferred to Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Winston-Salem.
