The classes, offered to persons 50 and older, are scheduled each Friday during a five-week session that begins this Friday and ends on Feb. 19. They will be held at the center, 215 Jones School Road in Mount Airy.
Participants have a choice of either morning or afternoon class times: 10 a.m. to noon or 1 to 3 p.m. A $10 fee is required.
Those interested must pre-register and pre-pay in order for a seat to be saved, according to Annalisa Davis, coordinator of the Surry County Senior Center. It works to enhance the quality of life for older adults through a variety of programs and activities.
More information about the computer classes is available from Davis at 786-6155.
